Growing up, he was interested in different topics but always leaned towards computers because he grew up surrounded by them. His marketing career started as a Community Manager. As his career progressed, he explored his natural curiosity and applied it by executing inventive marketing campaigns. We are proud to say that Conexio found him first (thanks, Cande <3), exposing him to a whole new mix of marketing and tech. Tempted by two worlds he loves equally, he couldn’t say no.

He’s now living in Buenos Aires, a vibrant city that never sleeps and has something new to explore in every corner, especially when it comes to food and culinary culture.

Working with him makes you feel like all your ideas are actually possible. The way he embraces the leadership process makes you feel like there’s always an open door to share your thoughts or doubts, which helps others grow professionally.

A tech geek at heart, he’s also a professor who enjoys sharing his knowledge and is always looking forward to acquiring new skills that will make him a better overall marketer.

Get to know Luis.

Being a leader is a continuous task of keeping the team motivated and focused. What is your strategy to achieve this goal?

I don't have a strategy. I just try to spend most of my time listening to the team and creating space to do what they are great at.

What's something that's surprised you about your career path?

Doing marketing for audiences all over the world never ceases to amaze me. But I'm sure the best surprises are yet to come.

Marketing trends and customers' needs move so fast. In your opinion, what's the most interesting or most exciting trend right now?

With the rise of branding as a business driver, for a moment, every trend was about tech, analytics, AI, and all that good stuff, but now I'm starting to see that teams are talking about the importance of branding and creative ideas. Also, Web3 is really interesting, but I'm just learning about it.

The creative process is very personal and can vary according to projects, objectives, contexts, emotions. Have you noticed any consistent patterns in yours?

The ideas that made me proud come to me when I'm doing something I genuinely enjoy.

What advice do you have for someone starting their marketing career?

Build something for you, a brand, e-commerce, a YouTube channel. Whatever you like, spend your time trying to understand everything you can about building a loyal audience.
